❓ COMMON QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know about setting up your custom alarm.
How do I record a custom alarm?
Download any voice from the library above (or create your own with the free tools), then set your phone volume to maximum. Locate the microphone on the front of your Wake Strike and place your phone speaker close to it. Press and hold the record button to begin recording, then release it to stop. Press and hold the play button to preview, then use the switch on the back to toggle from the default alarm to your custom recording.
Does Wake Strike come with pre-recorded voices?
Wake Strike comes with default alarm tones, but the real magic is the custom recording feature. You can set your alarm to literally anything — download from our free library above or create your own using the AI voice tools. That's what makes Wake Strike different from every other alarm clock.
Can I change my alarm sound later?
Yes! You can re-record your custom alarm as many times as you want. Switch it up whenever you get bored — try a new voice, a new script, whatever keeps you jumping out of bed.
Do I need to pay for the voice tools?
No. All the tools linked on this page offer free tiers. The pre-recorded voices in our library above are also completely free to download.
The recording sounds quieter than the videos I saw — what should I do?
Make sure your phone volume is at absolute maximum when playing the audio. Locate the microphone on the front of your Wake Strike — it's clearly visible on the unit. Place your phone speaker directly against it for the loudest possible recording. Record in a quiet room for the best results. You can always re-record until you're happy with the volume. Note: in our social media videos, the audio is amplified for entertainment — but your alarm will still be plenty loud to wake you up!
How do I switch between the default alarm and my custom recording?
There's a switch on the back of the alarm that lets you toggle between the default alarm tone and your custom recording. Just flip it to the custom setting after you've recorded your alarm.
